HOW MY CLIENTS EXPERIENCE THE POSTPARTUM PERIOD

“It's not an overstatement to say that Foster's care after the birth of my daughter changed my life. From the very first day I came home from the hospital, I had been convinced that having the help of my family members and friends would be enough, but it was not. Foster brought professional and personal care to me - including talking me through my difficult feelings, connecting me to other forms of care that I would not have found without her and coaching me through an incredibly difficult transition. I truly believe that this type of work is a calling - and Foster was an angel to me in a very dark time. She helped get me to the other side, and I'm so glad I'm here - enjoying this special life with my daughter.”

- Molly, mother of 2

“When Foster walked in the door each week she personified rest and made me feel seen and supported while three boys and a husband were around me but not always able to give me the individual support I needed. This was the best postpartum recovery I've ever had despite having the most children in my home to date, and I attribute that to her. I'm forever grateful to her for her calm demeanor and true support. Highly recommend her for anyone wanting someone calm, intelligent and kind during such an intense time.”

- Katie, mother of 3

“I was lucky enough to have Foster as my postpartum doula and I can't recommend her highly enough. She joined our family seamlessly and her visits were the highlights (and guideposts) of those early weeks. Not only did she provide incredible, nurturing care (making delicious food, letting me shower/sleep, advising on breastfeeding positions and pumping, tidying up, and generally allowing me to focus on post-birth recovery), but she is so knowledgeable about the postpartum recovery process and parenting. My husband and I loved all of the discussions we had.

We also booked Foster for a newborn photography session and are so so happy we did. The photographs are gorgeous, and she was able to capture the spirit of our family.”

- Alison, first time mom
